Approximately half of customers who have an app with access to Blik made at least one transaction with it in the last quarter
Data released by the press offices of major retail banks in Poland shows that in the fourth quarter of last year the companies had at least 3.2 million customers who actively used Blik mobile payments. We're saying ‘at least’, because only seven out of a dozen banks that offer Blik payments shared their data. A user is considered active if they made at least one Blik transaction during the quarter in question.

The statistical data shows that, somewhat surprisingly, ING Bank Śląski had the largest number of customers using Blik payments. The company says that in the fourth quarter of 2018 it had almost 1.4 million active Blik users. Poland's largest retail bank, PKO BP, boasts approximately 860 thousand Blik users. mBank came in third with about 466 thousand customers making Blik payments.

As I’ve mentioned, the list doesn’t include several companies, such as Alior and T-Mobile Usługi Bankowe, Millennium or Getin. We can assume that the total umber of customers who use Blik payments on the Polish market is around 3.5 million. That adds up to about half of all the customers who installed a mobile app with access to Blik. The latest data from the National Bank of Poland puts that number at 7.7 million in the third quarter of last year. You can find more details below.
