We are talking about the Krakow-based fintech Be Next, which wants to raise money for its idea via the crowdfunding platform Emiteo
Krakow-based start-up Be Next wants to launch (first in Poland and later worldwide) a new mobile application called BNXT. The app is designed to be another instant messenger, but it is equipped with new features. Among these, it mentions above all fast money transfers between users, or P2P. This is to be made possible by integrating the communicator with a digital wallet. The application is currently in the testing phase, with a planned release later this year.

So far, Be Next (the company's name explains the app's rather difficult-to-pronounce name) has been developing its app with the founders' funds. However, it aims to expedite the process, and to this end, it has organized a crowdfunding campaign on the Emiteo platform (the only company in Poland authorized by the Financial Supervision Commission for investment crowdfunding). Currently, a pre-campaign is underway, during which you can submit a non-committal application to invest in Be Next. For the time being, it is unclear how much money the company intends to raise. According to the regulations, the maximum amount could be €5 million.
Be Next is not the first entity to come up with the idea of sending money via messenger. Such services are already available in various countries around the world via WhatsApp Pay or Messenger, among others. Platform X is also said to be working on a similar service. In Poland, messenger payments are being developed by companies such as GG (formerly Gadu-Gadu), but they do not seem to be very popular. Be Next will indeed not find it easy to compete with all of them, especially as Blik, for example, has built a strong position for itself in P2P transactions in Poland.
