For now, Revolut customers can only order Mastercard cards. This is about to change
Cashless has found out that cards issued by Visa will soon become available to the Revolut app users. Visa confirmed the news. The company's Polish press office provided us with an email reply stating: "We can confirm that Visa is working with Revolut, and we will soon publish official information about the details of our cooperation".

Revolut's current offer includes Mastercard prepaid cards and a dedicated app that lets users buy and sell currencies at attractive rates. The startup is constantly developing the functionality of its accounts and aims to become a global alternative to traditional banking. Their product is becoming increasingly popular. The fintech company claimed that it had approximately 950 thousand users in Europe in November 2017.

In the fall of last year, the company also announced that it was applying for a European banking license. The fintech startup is expecting to obtain it in the first half of 2018. At that point it will be able to offer deposits and loans to customers. The Revolut app is already selling phone insurance, and the company taking steps to offer life insurance to users.
