There are currently several concepts ‘on the table’ which are still being discussed and analyzed
According to cashless.pl, the Inteligo brand, which is in the PKO BP portfolio, is not doomed to liquidation, which until recently seemed a foregone conclusion. The bank's press office confirms this. "During work on the strategy, a decision was made not to close Inteligo. This means that the bank wants to keep this brand for further use. Several concepts ‘on the table’ are still being discussed and analyzed’; I read them in response to my question.

At that time, Poland's largest retail bank was struggling with the reputation of an old-age pensioners' institution, and the purchase and development of modern services under the Inteligo brand was supposed to help it fight for young customers. Later, however, the ‘big’ PKO systems also began to modernize, and the bank started its efforts to shed the label of an institution offering outdated services. To a large extent, it succeeded, and at some point, it became clear that Inteligo was no longer needed.
The slow phasing out of services offered under this brand began as there were not enough human and financial resources to develop them when the bank's core systems required it. First, credit cards sold under the Inteligo brand were withdrawn. In April 2023, corporate accounts were closed, and customers were offered to open them with PKO BP. Since February 2024, individual customers can no longer open a new account with Inteligo. In June, existing customers lost the ability to order foreign transfers via the mobile app, and in August, the option to open new fixed-term deposits.

Everything indicated that PKO BP was heading for the withdrawal of the Inteligo brand from the market. For this to happen, there is no final decision and no idea what to do with the several hundred thousand people who still use Inteligo services. Anyway, unofficial information from cashless.pl indicated that the end of Inteligo was imminent.
However, this changed after the election of PKO BP's new management. As we unofficially learn, the team currently managing the bank sees new opportunities for Inteligo. However, there was not enough time to thoroughly analyze this issue; hence, there was no place for it in the recently announced strategy. For the time being, it is unclear when the results of the analyses, as reported by the PKO BP press office, can be expected.
