The company's press office talks about what PeP Pay will be. "The PeP Pay service will be a softpos. PeP will launch with its new offering at the end of 2022 or early 2023. Testing and finalisation are currently underway", we were told in response to a question on the matter. The new app terminal is said to stand out from the competition with additional services, but company representatives are not revealing more details at the moment.

Thus, PeP is another organisation that, by its activities, confirms the prediction made by experts at the Cashless Breakfast in April: 2022 will be the year of softpos. It is enough to recall that Fiserv, Paytel, IT Card and eService have presented their solutions. The latter is used by PKO BP, offering LikePOS to its customers, Paytel's technology is used by Millennium, while ING, Credit Agricole and BNP Paribas (in cooperation with Elavon) have relied on a solution from the Polish fintech, Softpos.eu.
