Fintech uPaid announced the opening of its third foreign office. After Sofia (2017) and New York (2019), it was São Paulo's turn. The development of the South American branch will be led by Tomasz Kupka - a board member who previously managed the branch in the USA. The company also announced that it is preparing for the initial public offering. It would take place in 2021.

The uPaid press release shows that its solutions are already present in more than 20 markets, and 85 percent. revenues are generated from activities carried out abroad. The company mentions here, among others Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Middle East, USA and Southeast Asia, in which it implements new projects in India, Thailand and Singapore.

uPaid was established in 2011. It is currently one of the world's largest providers of Mastercard mobile banking wallets. The company as the only one in Poland and one of the few in the world, gained the status of a platinum partner of this American organization in 2017. Fintech also implemented payment solutions, including for Austriacard, UBS in Switzerland, CSOB in Slovakia, MBK in Hungary or Fidor Bank in Germany.
