Zilch was founded in 2018 and declares that today it has around 4 million customers. They can use a deferred payment service: it is split into parts, the repayment is spread over several weeks. The second service is moneyback - the customer pays the entire amount due with the help of the fintech app, but receives a partial refund. A third solution is in the pipeline, namely payment three months after purchase.
Last autumn, Zilch was valued at around USD 2 billion. Companies that have invested in the entity include eBay and Goldman Sachs. Interestingly, the fintech did not seriously lose value when its competitors were heavily overvalued - Klarna's valuation, for example, has melted sharply in recent years, as you could read about on cashles.pl.

From a Polish point of view, Zilch is interesting because it has launched a technology centre in Kraków. As recently as the middle of last year, the company reported that one-third of its developers work in the capital of Malopolska, and this percentage is expected to increase in the coming years. It is with the help of the Kraków facility that the entity wants to pursue market and product expansion.
